What are we about?

TalkBackSyr has been created through the generosity of a local business that I am a part of (Andrews Associates) and is meant to facility the sharing of ideas and facilitate change in the Syracuse, NY area.  

We are NOT affiliated with the City of Syracuse, County of Onondaga or any other municipality.  We are a group of concerned citizens that don’t want to see our city become a ghost town.

We are also not affiliated with any political party or ideology.  This is an open and free discussion platform.

Please join us in expressing your thoughts and concerns.  By doing this we hope to make some type of change in our community.  But in doing so, please be respectful.  Disagree with someone just don’t flame them.

What can you expect to see on this site in the future?

My hope is that this portal will become the first stop for anyone looking for anything and everything in the Syracuse area.  “A bold plan” you might say?  Yes, it is.  I don’t think that this is going to happen over night, nor do I think that I am going to make any money off of it.  Yet, I will make this vision a reality with your help.

So let me know what you want to see on this site.  Give me your constructive criticisms.  I am always open to new ideas and hope to give you what you want and need.
