Who Carole is...

A Life-long resident of Pompey and a graduate of Fabius Pompey High School, Carole is the widow of Fred Marsh, mother of a daughter, Carole Ann, and has two granddaughters,Tiffany and Brittany.

Retired as a manager from Verizon, Carole is currently Supervisor of the Town of Pompeyand has held the position for the last 5 years.

    *Prior to this position, she was a member of the Town Board for 18 years.

   * Vice President of the Onondaga County Board of Supervisors  

 * Member of the Board of Directors CNYSPCA  

 

 * Vice President of the Onondaga County District Attorney Advisory Council

 * Member of the Pompey Historical Society and Past President  

 * Member of Pompey Hill Fire Auxiliary

What Carole Has Accomplished....

   **Over the past 5 years, Town and Highway taxes have decreased over 7%

 **Town is debt free 

    **Coordinated with Town’s Fire Departments and Highway Department to provide consolidated  fuel services, resulting in savings to residents 

   **Instituted an annual meeting with all Town Boards and Department Heads

 **Worked with DOT (County and State), County Sheriff and State Police to install warning signs and lower speed limits to ensure the safety and welfare of Town residents

   **Promoted and coordinated the development of the Town of Pompey’s website-  www.townofpompey.com

  **Supported the expansion of the Town Clerk’s hours and the Building and Zoning Officer’s role to better serve resident needs

  **Explored expanding our ongoing 20-year shared services with adjoining Towns

  **Coordinated with the Onondaga County Soil & Water Conservation District to address soil erosion along Limestone Creek at Pompey Hollow Road and Route 20

  **Instituted dedicated Supervisor hours and meetings with residents by appointment 

   **Provided American flags to Fire Departments for distribution within the Hamlets
